Hi- I’m Sarah, a certified Pilates and yoga instructor who is passionate about helping people move better- and feel better doing it. I believe movement doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful—and that it can (and should) feel good. My classes focus on building strength, stability, and body awareness, all while leaving space for exploration and play.

As a long-time runner, triathlete, athlete- I am especially passionate about how movement micronutrients can help prevent injury and promote longevity by tuning into the little things—like posture, breath, and the mind-body connection.

I grew up in Nova Scotia and began my teaching practice there. I now live and teach in Victoria on Vancouver Island, and spend my free time hiking, climbing, diving, swimming, and exploring one of the most stunning landscapes in the world.

About Drift

Teaching Philosphy

Mindfulness

When we move slowly, mindfully, and with intention, we create the space for strength, resilience, and transformation to unfold. .

Variety

I believe there’s no right or wrong way to move — no “good” or “bad.” We are built for movement, and we all need more of it in our lives. Drift is about offering variety: exploring strength in different positions, joint angles, and patterns, so your body feels capable in all directions.

Joy! Play! Curiosity and delight in the process! Movement is an expression of our alive-ness

Longevity

Movement is what allows us to keep doing the things we love — not just today, but for years to come. These practices support endurance, strength, and mobility so you can move with freedom through every stage of life.
